Take a photo of your plate or say what you ate; you check it before saving.

  • App screenshot coming soon

    Every nutrient

The amount, the reference and which foods it came from.

What the app does

  • Build your dishes

Search for foods, set the amount in grams or servings and save the dishes you eat often.

  • Photo or speech, with AI

Take a photo of your meal or say what you ate. The AI suggests the foods and amounts, and you check everything before saving.

  • Nutrients in depth

Beyond calories: vitamins, minerals, fiber and the forms of each vitamin, for the day and as an average of the last few days.

  • Labels in your catalog

Take a photo of a product's nutrition facts and it goes into My foods, with the label's values.

  • Contaminants and residues

Metals and pesticide residues, from official monitoring programs and open literature, with the context and source of each value.

  • Official references

Daily values and limits from Brazil, the United States, the European Union or the international reference, depending on where you are.

  • Works offline

The food database comes with the app. Only photo and speech analysis use the internet.

  • 14 languages

From Portuguese to Japanese, with food names and servings in your language.

Who it's for

  • People who want to understand what they eat, without a ready-made formula.
  • People who follow their diet with a dietitian or doctor and want to log their days.
  • People curious about what goes beyond calories.

Self Menu informs; it doesn't replace advice from a dietitian or doctor.

Our principles

  • Informs, doesn't prescribe

The app shows the data and the references. It doesn't tell you what to eat or judge amounts: the decision is yours.

  • Open data, with sources

Values come from public, open sources, such as health and agriculture agencies in Brazil, the United States, Europe and the United Nations. Every number shows where it came from; without reliable data, the field stays empty, never estimated.

  • Your data stays on your phone

Dishes, entries and settings stay on the device, and the app works without an account. With an account, the server keeps only the minimum, and photos are only used for the analysis: Self Menu doesn't keep them.

Read the Privacy Policy.
